Comic-Con Goes Virtual But Comes Back In-Person in November

 In News

Comic-Con International just announced that its two flagship expos. Comic-Con and Wondercon, will once again be virtual this year because of COVID concerns.

The virtual edition of the Anaheim Spring convention will take place in March 26 and 27, 2021 and will be free. The event usual welcomes around 60,000 guests.

The virtual edition of Comic-Con will take place on July 20-24 and will also be free. The event usually brings around 150,000 guests in to the San Diego Convention Center.

2020 badges for both expos will roll over to 2022 or can be refunded upon request.

The big news is however that Comic-Con International is planning a new in-person 3-day pop culture event which will take place in November. While there isn’t much information available at this time, this means there is finally light at the end of the tunnel and by Fall, trade show exhibitors and attendees should finally be able to meet in person safely.

Comic-Con will post more information on their website soon.

As a reminder, we recommend contacting us at least 3 months before a trade show if you need a custom exhibit. So for any expo happening in the Fall, we suggest hitting us up by late August to make sure everything runs smoothly and is ready for your convention.
