Custom Booth for Matillion At Snowflake Data Cloud Summit

Here is a look at a custom Booth built and installed for Matillion At Snowflake User Conference Data Cloud Summit in San Francisco, CA.

Organized by Snowflake’s Media Data Cloud, Snowflake Data Cloud Summit is a premier event for data, AI and application development professionals.

PLANNING

Our client, event producers The Studio of Possible (TSOP), had designed a couple booths for data integration platform company Matillion, including this playground themed 30’x30’ exhibit as their centerpiece.

BUILDING THE DISPLAY

The display was built in Los Angeles, in collaboration with The Studio of Possible team.

The central structure in the booth served as a storage room with each external side being a different activation. On the front side, we mounted a 75” TV that displayed a demo. Above the TV we mounted a double sided lightbox header of their logo.

On another side, we mounted a basketball hoop to a custom backboard on a wall that was fully vinyl wrapped. We also fabricated a custom playground style branded bench.

On the back side of the booth there was a ball pit photo op. We fabricated a slide exit for people to sit on to take photos in the ball pit.

To the left of the ball pit, we built a functional swing seat.

On the last side of the booth was a blank wall space with monkey bars overhead where an artist did live drawings during the event.

Surrounding the booth, we fabricated four demo booths with internal fans to be able to house powered laptops within the drawers with overheating.

We also fabricated a custom tilt table maze game with an accompanying leaderboard totem with a stopwatch buzzer to track contestants time. The leaderboard totem doubled as a hat display. For additional seating around the booth, we built a seesaw style bench. We built a periscope portal unit that connected to the client’s other two activations. We also custom cut a 30’x30’ carpet that our client designed with shapes that were a different color to highlight certain assets around the booth.

INSTALLATION

All booth’s assets were transported, delivered, assembled and broken down by our team and TSOP at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
